Van is a sportswriter whose column has been featured by USA Today, Yahoo, and a few other major media websites.  The photo is mine--he looks so disarming in an apron.  The following is his own description of himself:

Just your average 2.03 meter carbon-based life-form, Van has a virtually useless Master's Degree in English Literature and a well-worn Fender Stratocaster. He currently teaches English at a Korean university and plays guitar whenever his schedule allows. When he's not ranting and raving about whatever currently ails him, he spends quality time with his wife and dog.
