My friend Gina and I have been estranged. Naturally we were estranged over stupid stuff; nothing of any real consequence. If it were something of consequence, we wouldn't be talking to each other now, we'd still be in our own little worlds apart.

I really missed her in the time we've been apart. There were a few times that I really wanted to talk to her but we weren't talking. It was kind of sad on my part because she was the only woman I could trust that was near and, on the subject that I wanted to talk about, the only one who had any expertise I could trust.

This month on July 19th, I'll be participating in a singing contest at the Boryeong Mud Festival. The contest is really cool, the holy trinity of playing music: food and drink, hotel, and cash.

The owner speaks English and they are super helpful.

For those of you who don't know, some Western things are not easily found in Korean supermarkets. I had to buy some things in bulk but I did get them but some things didn't seem to be on the shelf.

I had to go through a bunch of resumes once when I had an open position for a curriculum writer. When I read through these it amazed me that these people have actually had jobs teaching communication skills. These people actually believed they had top-of-the-line writing skills.

It made me understand what Simon, Randy, and Paula go through.
